DO I NEED TO BE AN EXPERT TO OWN THIS FRANCHISE?

You, as the franchise owner, will be shown the ropes! What you need is a passion for good food, an uncompromising attitude, and a respect for a premium, wild-caught, sustainably harvested product, and a desire to give your local market a unique and authentic Maine experience.

DO I NEED RESTAURANT / COOKING EXPERIENCE?

For food trucks, while it is favorable, it is not required. For restaurants, the Franchisor is looking for operators who have food & beverage experience or can identify a General Manager with that experience.  As a franchisee owner, you are required to have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, strong operational and administrative skills, a desire to learn, and a commitment to providing your customers with the very best experience.

IS A FRANCHISEE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A FOOD TRUCK FROM THE FRANCHISOR OR ANOTHER DESIGNATED SUPPLIER?

No. You may purchase or lease a food truck that meets the Franchisor’s specifications from an approved truck supplier of your choice, built out to Franchisor’s standards. The Franchisor will provide blueprints, equipment specifications and graphics to ensure your truck meets brand standards.

ARE SINGLE AND MULTI-UNIT FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE?

Yes, please speak with your FranAlign Coach, Craig Taylor, regarding any questions on multi-unit franchising. The food truck territories are large to encourage multi-unit growth and will typically encompass an entire MSA or a multi-county market area. The restaurant territories are smaller and the Franchisor will allow for placements within a 10 or 20 mile radius from existing units if they are confident it will not impact existing unit sales.

DOES THE FRANCHISOR PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE WITH THE DESIGN
AND BUILD-OUT OF A BRICK & MORTAR?

Yes. To maintain the Franchisor look, feel, and flow, their designated construction management group will oversee the entire design, buildout, and furnishings/decor as part of their “store-in-a-box” full service program.
