VetFran ProgramProviding financial assistance to honorably discharged veterans who would like to start a franchise business
If you are a veteran, we would like to thank you for your service!
We would like to show our thanks by presenting Franchise companies to you that similarly recognize and respect the sacrifices you have made for your country, and want to honor you by helping you get into business for yourself, but not by yourself. These franchise companies are members of the IFA’s VetFran program that provides financial assistance to honorably discharged veterans who would like to start a franchise business. Currently, more than 600 franchisors participate in the VetFran program.
Initially started during the Gulf War as the Veterans Transition Franchise Initiative, the program was relaunched after 9/11 as VetFran. Veteran-friendly franchise businesses exist in just about every industry and investment range. Opportunities range from home services and retail to fitness and more.
According to VetFran, “Veterans have always been drawn to the franchise business model, and franchisors have long recognized that entrepreneurial veterans are some of the best qualified, motivated and successful prospective franchisees out there. Even though veterans account for about 7% of the population, 14% of franchisees are vets. Veteran franchisees are more likely to hire veterans as employees, and 65% of franchisors have indicated that their rate of hiring veterans has increased in recent years. Veterans emerge from service with strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of teams. Military experience includes leading and motivating people, improving processes, and accomplishing a defined mission. Like the military, successful franchisees and employees accomplish the mission with a team.”
Our goal at FranAlign includes helping you build a secure future for you and your family. Our proven process is designed to provide you with veterans-friendly franchise opportunities that align with your financial, lifestyle and personal goals.
You are a just a few steps away from being guided through a process that will help you determine which franchise is right for you.
